I have been making furniture ever since training as a woodwork teacher in the late 1970’s, although I spurned the world of education early on. After spending much of my life running large workshops and employing teams of staff I have now downsized to just myself - sharing the workshop in Stockport with my good friend John Beswick. As a result, I’ve never been happier!
My speciality is bespoke cabinets - anything from a radiator cover to a full fitted kitchen. All are made in exactly the size and style you choose and in a wide range of timbers. Currently, a lot of my work is in painted finishes.
I pride myself on the care and attention I give to my work and to my clients. I love nothing more than delivering a beautiful piece of furniture to a delighted customer!
When I'm not making furniture I am likely to be found hacking my way around Reddish Vale golf course.
